ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Colony Nights
Often, the most fun part of a night is before you go out: the time you spend getting ready with your girlfriends and taking silly photos like the ones Kinya and I took in our friend Shauna’s room at the Chamberlain. The post ESPYs party at Colony was okay. And there was that cool wicker hanging chair to pose on. But my favorite part was definitely beforehand. I tried this dress belted back in January. But I think I prefer it plain with bare legs. It lets the ruffles remain the main focus. And I absolutely adore Kinya’s one-shoulder Jackie O dress. She’s the queen of sample sales and scored it for such a great price.

And no, Kinya did not wear the same dress two days in a row. Since we were going to an ESPYs party, I wanted to slip on something a little sexier than what I was wearing earlier in the evening at the jewelry event.
