ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Leaving on a Jet Plane
Figuring out what to wear on a plane can be difficult. You want to be as comfortable as possible without looking like you rolled out bed. I have a pretty typical travel uniform. It consists of a cotton tee for comfort, a bright cardigan to inject some color, stretchy skinny jeans as an alternative to leggings, ballet flats with a pair of socks in my carry-on to slip on when I take my seat and a scarf, which transitions into an eye pillow. I’m happy I stuck to my comfy combo as I waved goodbye to my friend Shauna and her Pom, Simba. I ended up having 13 hours of travel time due to the freak New York tornado! As much as I enjoyed Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, it sure felt good to be home.
