ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Sojorn Services
Tonight I went with my friend Candice to Guess and Marie Claire‘s event for Sojourn Services, hosted by Vanessa Marcil and Jillian Michaels. Ella Marciano, daughter of Guess CEO and VP Paul Marciano, designed a purple heart logo, which was being sold on limited edition tees and tanks, to benefit Sojourn Services for Battered Women and Their Children.

Since it was a charity event, I wanted to dress a little more sophisticated. I took inspiration from the monochromatic 70s feel of Chloe’s fall runway. I played with texture by pairing cream suede pants with two different silk tops and cinching it all together with a leather belt. The fabrics felt so luxurious against my skin. But they’re not so travel friendly. In just the 20 minutes I drove to Hollywood & Highland I experienced major wrinkling. Sometimes, I wish events had steamers in the restrooms.
