Ask ThinkThru: Where Can I Find Tan Flat Boots?

Ask ThinkThru: Where Can I Find Tan Flat Boots?Where can I find the tan flat boots that are shown in January 2010? —Caroline

Unfortunately, the boots featured back in January’s ttF Fashion Staples Series are no longer available. But not to worry, I found alternatives at different price points that are equally as versatile and stylish. When shopping for flat boots, keep in mind that completely flat isn’t always the most comfortable. I prefer my boots to have a slight heel, even it’s only half an inch. That way, the arch of your foot has more support.

1. Steve Madden Intyce Boot
The cognac version of this shoe goes with everything. It’s wide enough that you can easily tuck your jeans in and the small wedge dresses it up just the right amount.

2. Lauren by Ralph Lauren Halima Boots
These boots zip up, rather than pull, which means they will be more fitted to your leg. The stacked heel is great for walking and a riding boot is a classic, so it will never go out of style.

3. Frye Dorado Low Classic Pull On Boot
These boots are a little pricier but Frye makes quality shoes that last. Plus, since they’re already weathered, you don’t need to worry about messing up the leather. The more worn-in they get, the cooler they will look, which means you can wear them for years.
