ttF Fashion Staple: Brooch Necklace
Today I picked up one of this month’s staples: the brooch necklace. My friend Micha Kuechenhoff is an incredibly talented jewelry designer so I’m thrilled to be wearing one of her pieces six times in December. What I love about the mix of brooches is there something of everything: pearls, silver, gold and color. So it really goes with everything. She calls her jewelry “upcycled” because in recycling old materials, she makes them incredibly fashionable. I could have stayed in her studio for hours, looking at her wall of vintage finds and new designs she was working, like this very cool buckle statement piece below. Today, I used my new sparkler to dress up two of my staples from January and the stripe sweater I wore last month here. And a mess of a hair day resulted in a trendy ballerina bun.
