ttF Fashion Staple: Gemstone Brooch and Wide-Leg Pants
After being sick all weekend, I needed something comfortable for my first day back at the office. Cashmere is always a go-to choice. And I figured the peace signs and positive symbolism behind the hamsa hand on my sweater couldn’t hurt. The ancient meaning behind the palm-shaped amulet inspired my accessorizing. I looped my brooch (which reminds me of royal jewels) through a gold chain to turn it into a pendant, added a coin necklace that looks as if it’s a find from the 18th century and locked in the look with a key ring. If only one of the pieces had healing powers because I still feel awful from my post fashion-week flu!
