This week, Victoria’s Secret hosted a posh afternoon to celebrate their Bombshell Summer. Guests got together at Mondrian in Los Angeles to preview the new collection and indulge in mini pampering sessions.

The gorgeous Miranda Kerr hosted the event. I still can’t believe she just had a baby! The supermodel looked extra beautiful thanks to a suede baby blue Balenciaga shift, which brought out her sparkling eyes. I caught up with her to hear her top beauty tip for summer:

“Instead of ruining your skin, try Victoria’s Secret self tanner,” she said, naming the Beach Sexy Adjustable lotion as her fave. Miranda likes to put in on before bed to avoid staining her clothes. Sheets are certainly easier to clean than couture! When you wake up, she says all you have to do is “wash your sheets, have a shower and you’re ready to go!”

After chatting with Miranda, I indulged in a mani and chose Essie Tangerine. After talking to Emily of Cupcakes and Cashmere I learned that it’s one of her fave colors, too.

Before everyone left, there was a fun surprise. Miranda hosted a mini raffle. Three of my fellow fashion and beauty journalists won awesome prizes, including two tickets and airfare to the next Victoria’s Secret fashion show. The winner better start getting her bombshell on!
