ttF Fashion Diary: Double Stripe

ttF Fashion Staple: Tan Striped Tee
When mixing stripes, it’s all about using the lines to your advantage. Since I’m smaller on top, I use horizontal stripes to widen my frame. And since I’m bigger on bottom I either go with vertical lines to elongate like I did here—or diagonal stripes to accentuate my curves as I did today.

This is actually a strapless dress, which I transformed into a skirt by folding over my tee and belting the extra fabric. The red and tan mix made the form-fitting silhouette casual enough for an early dinner in San Diego.

Club Monaco tee, vintage dress worn as a skirt, vintage belt from November 2010’s staples, H&M sandals and bag, Twisted Silver ring
