ttF Fashion Staple: Cherry Shoe Clips
After the San Diego Living shoot, I took my friend (and fab model!) Melissa for lunch at one of my fave spots in Del Mar, L’Auberge. I had borrowed the dress I wore on-air so I had to change, and because of the heat, keeping cool was a must. I slipped into a lightweight cotton dress and used my safari scarf trick from last summer. For a pop of color, I added my cherry clips to basic espadrilles.
American Apparel dress, vintage scarf from June 2010’s staples, M2 Mary Margrill necklace, bangles from a London flea market, Dooney & Bourke bag, Banana Republic wedges, ttF DIY cherry shoe clips

I truly appreciate that the printed accessory that you used to add a little extra interest to your cap-sleeve shirt dress was a leopard print scarf. This ensemble completely looked on point with the tribal trend, a popular fashion of the season. As you said it kept you cool with it’s lightweight fabric but still stylish with it’s safari inspiration. The cherry shoe clips were a very nice touch as well.

Am I going crazy or do you both look really, really similar to one another?
That scarf and bag are both adorable, btw.
