(front row with Lauren Conrad, Jenny Packham, fashion week bff The Budget Babe, Victoria’s Secret rooftop lounge, Naeem Khan)
Day 6 was another magical fashion week moment. If you follow me on Twitter, over the years you’ve heard me voice my obsession over Jenny Packham. The British designer is one of my absolute favorites. So imagine my excitement when I discovered not only did I have a front row seat, but it was next to Lauren Conrad! This season, Jenny Packham was inspired by The Rat Pack Mascots of the 1960s. Disco ball minis and crystal encrusted chiffon gowns floated down the runway. Both Lauren and I absolutely loved the polka dots!
After enjoying some sweet treats with Victoria’s Secret rooftop at the Empire Hotel, I headed to Naeem Khan. The designer drew inspiration from elemental beauty, resulting in vivid sunset gowns and sparkly Arabian sea kaftans. But my absolute fave was a black and white rose print organza gown. Fashion week is tricky. The runways are showing what in store for next spring. But the street style is all about fall. For my look, I chose two of my favorite trends for the season: oxblood and leather.

Hi! I am in love with the oxblood trend too – I wrote a post about it for my blog, and I used you as style inspiration. I hope you don’t mind! Check it out – http://hillarychristine.wordpress.com.
