The Scene: NYFW Day 7

(Nanette Lepore, Kimora Lee Simmons, Milly, Lincoln Center, Daisy Lewellyn, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week)

I can’t believe New York Fashion week has come to a close. For my last day at the tents, I saw Nanette Lepore and Milly. Both designers showed bright colors for spring: Nanette went for teals and warm corals while Michelle Smith opted for neons mixed with cool metallics. Outside the tents, color reigned supreme as well. I simply adored Kimora Lee Simmon’s pop of yellow with her printed dress!

I ended my fashion week with my signature look: a pencil skirt and blazer. A bright blue jacket and printed skirt easily transitions from summer to fall. In the morning you layer the jacket over a tank and when it gets warm, you can drape it over your shoulders. Now, it’s time to head back to LA and break down the trends from fashion week. Stay tuned for my A to Z guide, coming soon!
