NYFW: Black & Gold

 Fashion Week

It was everywhere from the clothing to the nails to glitter eye makeup. I did the trend with a printed dress, which I embellished even more using a bejeweled belt and plenty of sparkly jewelry. A red lip gave it a pop of color.

My look fit in perfectly with some of the models at Alice + Olivia. It was the most incredible presentation I’ve ever been to. The designer held her fall collection at Sleep No More (you may remember the venue from Gossip Girl). It was enchanted fairytale, complete with Cinderella, Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty, who Stacey Bendet’s daughter adorably kept trying to wake up!

Next it was off to Reem Acra, which is always a red carpet favorite. There was a mix of lace, chiffon and, yes, black and gold. I can’t wait to see which celebrities wear the gowns at the Oscars next month!
