I’m so excited for today’s A-Z Kids post because I get to introduce to you some of my family! My cousin Alyse is an incredibly fashionable photographer in Florida. And her 7-year-old daughter, Emma, certainly picked up the style gene. I asked Emma to choose her two fave videos in the A-Z Trend Guide and couldn’t believe when she picked Quilted and Jet Black! Usually you think of these trends for women. But Emma shows how even young fashionistas can pull it off.

In her first set, Emma did a lesson in layering. I love how a black tutu can instantly give a princess feel to leggings and quilted jacket. For warmer weather, she kept the boots but ditched the leggings for shorts. Can we say model off duty?!

For Jet Black, Emma used her staples of a jet black tank and leggings to create three different looks. A jean jacket makes all black more casual, a tutu gives it a rock ‘n’ roll vibe and a simple metallic belt is perfect for adding just a touch of sparkle.
