Fashion Staple Used: Floral Shift Dress
Packing for my #sydneinsydney trip was tricky. a) I barely had any time b) I was meeting my bf’s family for the first time and c) it’s winter! The first weekend I was attending a communion so I needed a conservative outfit. I headed to David Jones, a great department store down here, and fell in love with Talulah. The Aussie label has the best printed dresses!
I felt like a floral sheath with a knee-length hemline was perfect for church. Yet the geometric floral design was fashion forward enough for making a first impression. I made the dress extra girlie with my fave pink pumps and a bow belt from another great Australian designer: Alannah Hill.
These photos were taken at the Balmain ferry wharf, which has a spectacular view of Sydney Harbor Bridge and the city. Behind me, you’ll see Centrepoint, which is also known as the Sydney Tower. I haven’t made it up to the observation deck yet but it’s on the to-do list. Make sure to follow along my adventures on Instagram!
