Now that we’re officially in holiday season, it’s time to get our travel fashion in gear. It’s not just about what you wear on the plane. It’s also about what you pack in. I teamed up with Target to show some stylish options for your jet set schedule. Irish designer Orla Kiely collaborated with Target for an exclusive line of luggage, showcasing her iconic retro prints.

There are tons of items to choose from. For my large pieces, I went the 28″($179.99) and 21″ ($139.99) rolling bags in the car print. What’s cool about Orla’s graphic patterns is they coordinate, but they’re not perfectly matchy-matchy. While the passport case ($9.99) matches the navy and orange motif, the rolling duffel ($99) and luggage tag ($9.99) brings some more color to the mix.

My travel outfit was inspired by the pattern mixing: a striped scarf that doubles as an eye cover on the plane mixed with a plaid shirt that keeps me warm and comfy. Then I looked to the navy and neutral tones of the luggage with my accessories: I always wear my hats instead of packing them and slip-on booties makes going through security a breeze!
