Sydne-Style-how-to-diy-a-t-shirt-fabric-paint1. When using fluorescent paint, you need to have a base coat of white. I applied two coats of pink two the box already on the tee and let dry.
2. It’s always best to sketch out your design first. After figuring out how I wanted the lettering, I did tried it on wax paper first to see what it would look like before applying paint directly to the fabric.
3. I painted the lettering white first then let dry (you can use a blowdryer for faster drying time).
4. Then I layered pink paint on top. Before it dried, I painted yellow on the bottom of each letter. Then I went back and blended to create an ombré effect.

Tips
*If you mess up (which I did a little!), immediately wet with with a towel to rub out the paint.
*Put a piece of cardboard or thick paper underneath the fabric you’re painting to make sure the paint doesn’t run through to other side
