In the past couple of months, I’ve barely been home. Some trips are planned in advance but most are booked last minute. Packing outfits hours before a flight is stressful enough. So I try to keep my beauty simple by always leaving a travel case stocked with my winter essentials. The best part? They’re super affordable!
I stock up on my beauty products at CVS. As a Beauty Club member, I always end up earning ExtraBucks on visits (learn more about ways you can save here). CVS also is constantly launching new beauty products. So whenever I’m replenishing my staples, I’ll use the Extra Bucks to try out new brands too.
My number one problem during colder months is dryness. Even when I’m traveling to a warmer location, my skin gets dehydrated on the plane. I’m obsessed with Aquaphor. You can use it on everything from your chapped lips to cracked skin. I also like bringing face masks with me. I’ll use them to rehydrate the night I land and for brightening in the mornings before meetings or shoots.
I bring my face wipes out twice on the plane: to remove makeup when I take off, and freshen up just before landing. My two faves are Olay Fresh Effects and L’Oreal Paris Revatilift. I also recently tried Essie’s Second Shine Around. It’s a polish refresher that helps brighten your mani. It’s a life saver!
Thankfully, CVS has over 7,800 stores nationwide. So when I got stuck on the East Coast this week (oh Juno!) I was able to pop in when I ran out of makeup wipes. It was super close to my hotel, too, so I barely had to leave my cozy room at Mondrian Soho!
