Style Suiting

 Fashion Week

There have been such incredible shows and I can’t wait to share all the trends for the season. To kick off the first day, I wanted a powerful outfit. I’ve always loved the feel of a suit and the thicker fabric of my jacket and skirt helped keep me warm (it’s record lows this week in New York!). Inside the tents I wore it as is, but outside, used a faux fur infinity scarf to fight the chill (and yes, I of course wore a coat on top!). The black and white also fit in perfectly with the looks coming down the runways.

I took these shots outside The Empire Hotel as I was walking across to watch BCBG at Lincoln Center. It’s always my first show of the week and I loved the boho feel of this season, which was inspired by Barcelona. Lubov Azria layered cozy knits over romantic dresses and added a fierce factor with over-the-knee boots. This white printed dress was my absolute fave. I’m obviously having a winter white moment!
