When it comes to mixing prints, the easiest way is with black and white. You don’t have to worry about the colors matching so you can just concentrate on using the patterns to slim the figure. Larger prints highlight an area, while smaller prints minimize. For a lengthening effect, use vertical stripes, like I did here with an untucked button-down under a smaller, horizontal stripe crop top.

Another tip? The untucked button-down makes wearing white jeans way easier, as it covers the majority of your bottom. To look extra lean, add stilettos. I’m obsessed with this season’s lace-up trend! I added extra stripes with my new iPhone case then a red clutch for a pop of color.
