In today’s Friday Fave, I wanted to bring you to one of my favorite spots for happy hour in Los Angeles. My friends often make fun of me because I rarely leave my West Hollywood bubble. I hate traffic so during the week I need a good excuse to venture to other parts of LA. Indulging in Mexican food is one way to get me to Venice.
One of my favorite spots for happy hour on the Westside is Oscar’s Cerveteca. It’s right off the beach and has the most delicious Mexican corn on the cob—and it’s only $3 on the happy hour menu! I also love their chips and guac and $5 tacos.
My favorite thing to wear when for taco Tuesday (or Monday as was the case this week) is a maxi dress. I love this red maxi from Express because the cotton draping is so comfortable and even though it’s an open back you can still wear a bra. To dress it up, I added a bib necklace. Layering a statement piece over a casual dress is an easy way to dress it up from the beach to a delicious happy hour.
