I travel to New York at least every other month for work. My schedule is always jam-packed but sometimes I have a couple hours of downtime time. One of my favorite places to escape is the European Sculpture gallery at the Met. I’ve been to the Metropolitan Museum of Art more times than I can count. But there’s something so peaceful about the natural light shining down on inspiring works of art.
When I was in the city this week, I swapped my floral pumps for ballet flats and walked up the Met’s famous steps. Even though I was only able to sit in the peaceful room for half an hour, it felt like a true escape from the bustling city. It was the perfect way to recharge for the rest of my day.
