One easy way to keep warm at fashion week while still looking stylish is with a statement coat. I continued my fuzzy obsession with a pink faux fur coa (now on sale!) that I ended up wearing multiple times in New York. Since it’s a little oversized, it allowed me to do a ton of layers underneath. The trick to layering is start with the most form-fitting piece first. In my case, that was a ribbed knit. Then I added a chunkier sleeveless turtleneck and used an obi belt to show off my waist (similar to my outfit from my first show). Finally, I added a cropped faux fur vest to contrast the longer length of the turtleneck.
Even though I brought a bunch of shoes with me to fashion week, I couldn’t stop wearing these boots. I bought half a size up so I could wear super warm socks underneath. I wore this outfit to see Marissa Webb, which was one of my favorite shows of the week! She had some stunning colorful coats as well and I loved her mix of masculine and feminine on the runway. Check out my top picks from the runway on Facebook and Instagram!
