With Memorial Day this weekend, it’s the unofficial start to summer. And when it comes to shoe trends for the new season, my favorite by far is the lace-up sandal. There are so many ways to do the trend from flats and gladiators to sexy stilettos. Using the same little white dress, I laced up in four different styles to show how they can switch up your look. Sexy
A lace-up stiletto is undeniably sexy. If you’re worried about the style cutting you off at the ankle, look for a nude heel that matches your skin tone. These blush sandals have a small platform, which makes your legs look even longer while providing a touch of comfort. I kept to the neutrals theme by finishing off my look with a nude clutch.

Charming Charlie clutch (similar) & JustFab sandals

Girlie
There’s nothing more girlie than pink! These sandals are inspired by the new Alice in Wonderland movie, which I saw last week (if you follow me on Snapchat you got to see Johnny Depp intro the flick!). The shoes almost remind of ballerina slippers so I went ultra feminine by adding a matching bag, and then attaching a faux fur pom-pom keychain.

Boho
Gladiator sandals are a great way to add a bohemian vibe to any look. Again, a color that blends with your skin tone helps elongate the leg. So I went with a gold sandal since I have a lot of yellow in my skin (the sandals also come in tan). I love wearing white and gold with turquoise for summer. Casual
If you don’t want to go with a shoe that laces all the way up the leg, there are plenty of options that tie at the ankle. These sandals help give back to charity and are so comfy! I’ve been wearing them with jeans all month. I paired them with this season’s backpack trend for a super relaxed vibe.
