Here are the three books on my summer reading list right now. I’d love to hear what’s on yours. And let me know if you’re interested in a book club column! I thought it would be fun to compare reads every few months. Here’s my reviews so far:

I was so excited when Lauren Weisberger sent this one over. She’s the brilliant author behind Devil Wears Prada! This book is centered around a young tennis star, who rebrands her image for her career. Considering Wimbledon is happening right now it’s very timely. It’s such an entertaining, light read that I actually finished it in one day when I was by the pool in Palm Springs! I hear they’re going to make a movie around it and I can’t wait to see the cute tennis outfits!

I’m only half way through but can’t wait to finish this one up on my way to Miami on Thursday. The book is based on a furniture specialist who is sent to France to appraise pieces in a hidden gem appartment. Anything that’s set in Paris gains major points for me! The writing is so descriptive that I can almost see the antiques come to life, as if I’m scrolling through a beautiful feed on Instagram. I’m excited to get more into the mystery portion and she discovers the woman’s past of the house she’s appraising.

I haven’t started this one yet but it’s set in Nantucket and I just visited the Cape last month so I look forward to reading about the New England setting.
If you haven’t read The Girl on the Train yet, I also highly recommend that one. It’s a thriller ala Gone Girl that’s so suspenseful I also had to finish it in a day. I’m very curious to see the movie version with Emily Blunt in October!
