What to Wear to a Reunion Party

Last month I attended my college reunion. I seriously don’t know where time goes! Figuring out what to wear to a college or high school reunion is tricky. You want to make a good impression and you really only have one outfit to sum up the past five or ten years. That’s why I love a slip dress (remember Spring’s lingerie Trend Guide?). It’s romantic, feminine, classic and as long as you go with a longer length, it has just the right amount of sex appeal. Since I went to school in Boston, I did a nautical vibe with a navy and white print. And I love how the asymmetrical hem gives it a modern vibe. My favorite part about the slip dress trend is it works for so many different special events from reunions to weddings. I kept everything else fairly classic, with my favorite ankle-strap sandals, only adding a small statement with a big pearl earring.
