I’m loving this ’90s minimalism comeback, and a black mini skirt really is the backbone of it. I finally found one with a similar length and stretch, and it’s amazing how many seasons it works for. Summer with sandals feels effortless, then add boots or a jacket and suddenly it’s fall-ready. Comfort matters so much more to me now than it did in my twenties. I also appreciate clear sizing details, saves so much trial and error. While hunting for accessories to style mine, I once even searched for an Etsy phone number just to track down a vintage belt. Simple pieces really do the heavy lifting in real life wardrobes.
