Happy National Lipstick Day! In honor of the beauty holiday I partnered with CVS Beauty Club to round up my five favorite lipstick colors for summer. CVS has so many brands you know and love to choose from and even some exclusive lines you can only find there! The great part is as a Beauty Club member, you earn Extra Bucks Rewards for purchases, so the more you spend, the more you get back to put towards buying new lipsticks!

During the summer, I generally stick to the same eye makeup: a gold or bronze smoky eye (lighter for day, more dramatic for night). Makeup Academy has a great eyeshadow palette that I chatted about in my travel beauty post. With a bronzed look, I like to go with lipsticks in the orange and pink color family. Here are my top picks I found at CVS:

Nude Lipstick

If you remember my lipstick video from earlier in the year, one of my favorites was the Julianne Moore shade from the L’Oreal red collection. So I wasn’t surprised to find the actress’ color was my fave from the nudes collection, too. L’Oreal Colour Riche Collection “Julianne’s Nude” has a touch of pink to it, which I prefer over a lipstick that matches my skin color.

Blush Lipstick

For everyday, I adore Burt’s Bees Lipstick “Blush Basin.” It’s super moisturizing and has just a hint of color. It has a warm tone, which works well with a bronzed glow. And the color lasts so long!

Peach Lipstick

When I want subtle color, I stick with peach hues. My favorite from CVS is CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipstick “Decadent Peach.” It’s a soft shade that highlights a summer tan. I especially like pairing it with white outfits.

Coral Lipstick

For a bit of a brighter look, coral is my go-to during summer months. Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bloom Lip Color “Coral Burst” is a vibrant color that really brings out green eyes. Plus, the packaging is so cute!

Pink Lipstick

To make a statement, I’ll use a hot pink lipstick for summer nights. I especially like this color when I’m wearing black and white. Nuance Salma Hayek True Color Moisture Rich Lipstick “Lotus Pink” is infused with peppermint oil. So it moisturizes while leaving your mouth feeling extra fresh.
