Everyone in the fashion world is buzzing about fall. But in most parts of the country, including Los Angeles, it’s still summer. And as much as I’m excited about the new season, I’m still loving trends for right now. That’s why when I saw Gigi Hadid step out in the perfect California casual street style, I was immediately inspired.
You guys know I’ve been on an off-the-shoulder top kick recently and I love how the more feminine style contrasts with distressed jeans. I tried Gigi’s popular white sneakers when I was in NYC last month but for some reason they looked so incredibly chunky on my feet. I’m thrilled I finally found a pair of white kicks that look normal! I haven’t stopped wearing these all week.
Side note: like Gigi, I love bringing flowers as gifts (sunflowers scream happiness!). A little trick? A lot of supermarkets, like Whole Foods and Bristol Farms, will wrap up your bouquet at no extra charge. This bunch was only $8 but looked fancy thanks to some simple paper and twine.
