Happy National Junk Food Day! Honestly, I don’t know who decides these national holidays but I think they’re so fun… and the perfect excuse for an indulgent snack! That’s just what I did in my new gingham dress (it’s only $88!). My junk food’s wrapper inspired me to slip into these yellow sandals (now on sale!). And speaking of sales, my sunnies are majorly discounted, too.

Ok, now lets talk junk food. I’m not a huge sweets person but if you follow me on Insta Stories, you probably already know my obsession with peanut m&ms. I’m going to share a funny story to show just how obsessed I am with the hard candy:

When I was in NYC earlier this year, I was super thirsty but didn’t feel like paying $8 for the water in my hotel room. So I walked down the street to the drug store. I saw peanut m&ms at checkout but knew that if I bought them, I’d eat the whole pack (I always do!). So I went back to my room with water and yogurt covered pretzels.

Fast forward to two hours later. The yellow wrapper in the mini bar kept staring me down. I finally caved and ripped open the chocolates. As I munched in joy, I forgot about the $8 price tag that I refused to pay earlier when I was dying of thirst. Peanut m&ms always win.
