Over the last year, I’ve developed quite the obsession with white sneakers. I’ve worn them with everything from jeans to dresses. I rotate between a few different styles: solid white leather trainers, canvas white sneakers and, most recently, these laser cut sneakers.

The other day, I wore my new white kicks to shoot some outfits for the blog. I looked down and got so upset. In less than an hour they became filthy!

How to Clean White Sneakers

For clean white sneakers you don’t need a special shoe cleaner. The best spray to keep white shoes clean is a household item you probably already have at home: Windex! Simply spray the Windex onto a cloth. I found microfiber cleaning cloths work best but you can use any towel (just avoid paper towels since they tend to disintegrate). Then rub the cloth on your sneakers and voila! Your white sneakers are as good as new.

On a side note, the tip reminded me of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Remember when the dad used Windex on literally everything? I guess he was on to something!
