Stripes in Palm Springs

Sydne Style shows palm springs outfit ideas in white sunglasses and stripe trendsThis past weekend, Kelly invited Sheryl, An and I out to Palm Springs to celebrate her birthday. We had the best weekend, playing with our dogs, sipping cocktails by the pool and enjoying delicious meals in Kelly’s gorgeous Palm Springs home.

When it comes to what to pack for Palm Springs, I was all about stripes… and so were my friends! I brought along two different stripe outfits. The first was a striped pant set (it’s on sale for only $20!). The airy cotton kept me cool in the desert heat. Plus, I was able to mix and match the set, pairing the crop top with shorts and the pants with a lightweight tee when we lounged around Kelly’s house.

My next striped outfit was a jumpsuit. You can never go wrong with an easy jumpsuit on vacation! Mine just sold out but there are a bunch of options online. I added a little height with comfy espadrille platforms (they come in multiple colors!). Then I borrowed Sheryl’s navy straw tote to bring out the blues of the print.

I came back from Palm Springs with a tan and heart filled of love. Sometimes all you need is time with friends to rejuvenate your spirits. Watching puppies play also majorly helps! Bunny and Odee (Kelly and Klaus’ adorable cockapoo) became such great pals. And Bunny was beyond obsessed with Diesel (An and Chris’ precious Frenchie). How cute is this love triangle?! Now we just need Sheryl and Ruben to get a dog so we can go back to Palm Springs for more puppy fun in the sun.
