When it comes to perfume, I have two favorite scents: rose and sandalwood. I’ve talked about both before, and the symbolism behind the fragrances. As for sandalwood, I’ve been wearing Le Labo Santal 33 for a while. But I started smelling the scent everywhere. So many girls in LA wear the exact same perfume! So I was thrilled when I stumbled upon a new sandalwood fragrance.
I was shopping at Jemma Sands’ holiday pop up when I discovered the most delicious candles. I fell in love with the Venice fragrance. I told the designer how much I loved it and she revealed that she was coming out with a perfume oil with the same notes. She had a sneak peek on her so I rolled it on, and was in love! She was so sweet that she let me take home the sample.
It’s now available online. It has the sandalwood smell that I love. But it also has unique notes of fig and cardamom.
