There are two reasons I love shirt-dresses. One, they are so incredibly comfortable yet still make you look perfectly polished. And two, is you can wear them multiple ways! For work, I like to keep things buttoned up with a pointy pump. Then for night, I’ll unbutton the dress to turn it into a top and layer it over high waist skinny jeans. You can even use the same purse. This tote bag (mine is sold out but it’s now available in black and white) has a detachable pocket. You can wear it as a clutch or as a cross-body like I did. Gotta love multipurpose handbags!

If you’re on the shorter side like me, leave the last few buttons on the bottom of your dress unbuttoned. Obviously you don’t want to show too much leg at the office. But if your dress is longer, letting a little leg peek through instantly makes you look taller. Pointy nude pumps always help too!
