Emerald Green (in the) City

Sydne Style shows how to wear jewel tones in emerald green silk skirt

I’ve been having quite the obsession with emerald green this season. First it was an emerald jumpsuit. Next, it was a green dress. And most recently, it was this green skirt and top set I picked out to wear to Rebecca Minkoff’s presentation at New York Fashion Week.

There is something so rich and luxurious about emerald green that I can’t help but gravitating towards it. Plus, the jewel tone is a great color to take you from fall into holiday season.

The day started off warm. So to make the silky top and skirt look more daytime, I slipped into sandals (the square toe is big this season!) and a snakeskin bag. As the day went on, the weather changed, so I was happy I had my leather jacket with me. I kept swapping from draping it over my shoulders to wearing it as a jacket. The weather seriously could not make up its mind at fashion week!

What I love about separates, is you can wear them multiple ways. You can see how I styled this skirt with a graphic tee over on my IGTV channel. And for more from fashion week, check out my NYFW Insta Stories highlights!
