This past weekend, I went on a yoga retreat with H&M. I’ve never done a yoga retreat so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I only have one word to sum it up: magical.
The retreat was led by Yoga for Bad People. They host retreats around the world, and I hope to do one every year now. I still can’t do my usual workouts because of my injury, but I was able to participate in the more traditional yoga with plenty of modifications. There was also meditation and wellness practices. Mediation is really hard for me but I was pleasantly surprised on how much I was able to release my mind and enter a calmer state. I guess it really is just like everything else in life: the more you practice, the easier it becomes. Here are a few more faves I’ve been loving recently…
5 THINGS I’M LOVING RIGHT NOW
#1: comfy cozy
I lived in this H&M cardigan all weekend. Seriously, I even slept in it!
It’s part of their eco conscious collection, so aside from being super soft, it’s also sustainable. I went with gray but I also love the two beige options.
In addition to layering it over my workout outfits, I wore it with a white tee and jeans for a comfy, casual look.
I could not get over Ariana Grande at The Grammys. Her Giambatista Valli dress was so dreamy!
I’ve always been a fan of the designer’s ethereal creations. And I loved how the gray color gave all the tulle a less sugary sweet feel for the red carpet.
She was definitely my best dressed pick. You can see more looks from the red carpet in my “Awards Season” IG Stories highlight over on Instagram.
#3: Intimate Read
I’ve been recommending Three Women to every woman in my life. It’s a real-life account of three women across the country. All three women are completely different. But each one shares a relatable story of sex drive, desire, infatuation and heartbreak. Journalist Lisa Taddeo spent almost a decade of reporting before writing this book. And her incredible journalism skills are apparent through each and every touching page.
My Gorjana hoops are one of my most-worn earrings. I have them in silver but they also come in gold.
Unlike traditional hoops, these earrings are circles on a drop earring. My favorite part about them are they are so lightweight. Sometimes I forget I’m even wearing them!
As part of my limited dairy diet, I’ve been trying different vegan cheeses. When I was at my friend An’s the other day, she put together an entire dairy free “cheese” board. This Miyko’s Classic Double Cream Chive was by far my fave. It’s super creamy and almost tastes like brie. We put on crackers with a fruit spread on top and it was delicious! They have some recipes on their site that I’m really excited to try.
So cute, I’m obsessed! I’m going to do this with my friends!

That yoga retreat sounds rejuvenating. I am inspired to try Yoga for Bad People myself. The eco conscious cardigan from H&M and the vegan cheese board idea are great finds too. Interior Painting Services in Meridian ID
