Meghan Markle reunited with the royals on Commonwealth Day looking beyond in regal in green. Her green Emilia Wickstead dress, William Chambers hat and Gabriela Hearst bag gave me all the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel feels. It also reminded me that St. Patrick’s Day is just a week away! Obviously most of us don’t have an occasion to wear a cape dress and tulle hat on St. Paddy’s Day. So I rounded up some green outfits I’ve worn, as well as some from my fave blogger babes, for more wearable St. Patrick’s Day outfit ideas:
green Dresses and Skirts
Like Meghan, Grace accented her green dress with nude pups (great for lengthening legs!). The matching coat instead of a hat is much more wearable. If you’re not a dress girl, you can do a similar look with separates like I did with a green top and matching skirt.
green Pants
More of a pants girl? Green pants make a major statement and can be worn so many different ways. Sheryl let her vibrant pants do the talking with a simple graphic tee. I created a suit with mine by adding a matching blazer. If the bold color is too much for you, you can always do an earthier olive green.
green Tops & sweaters
Green tops are an easy way not to get pinched on St. Patrick’s Day. I love how Anabelle made her bright green top the focus of the outfit with jeans and neutral accessories. But I’m also all about a monochromatic moment. Kristin paired her green sweater with a green printed skirt and bag for a softer version of Meghan’s head-to-toe green. You could also just to the sweater with pants or jeans for other St. Patrick’s Day outfit ideas.
green Accessories
If you don’t like wearing bold color, you can always accessorize with green for St. Patrick’s Day. Elizabeth accented her floral dress with a green bag. And Krystal coordinated her green scarf with a cardigan for a colorful spring look. Scarves are super easy because you can even tie one in your hair or around a neutral handbag for a pop of color. You could also do green earrings or shoes for more St. Patrick’s Day outfit ideas.
minty green
If you’re not feeling green, try a lighter pastel in mint. It’s huge for Spring and a more subtle way to rock the color of St. Patrick’s Day. You can do a mint sweater, coat or bag (or all three!) like Wendy. Or simply pair a mint top with jeans like Melanee.
I hope this post helped you with some St. Patrick’s Day outfit ideas! If any of the looks inspired you I’d love to see! Just tag me @sydnesummer #ssInstaFam on Instagram and I’ll re-post on my stories. Happy almost St. Patrick’s Day!
