The 5 Face Masks You Need to Kick Off Summer

Sydne Style reviews the best face masks for summer with charitable face masks

I’m so excited to share that I’ve come out with a face mask collab! I’ve been working on this collaboration for weeks and it’s so incredible to see it come to life. There are 5 face masks in the collection to go with all your summer outfits. The best part? All of my face mask proceeds are being donated to charity! So you can feel good when you shop.

A little back story: I’ve tried on endless face masks. Some I bought, some were sent to me. But my favorites were the pleated ones by Sunday Ritual. Not only are they comfortable, but they have adjustable sides (just like your bra strap!) so you can really customize them to fit your face shape.

I’m friendly with the owner, Anooshka, so I told her I had some ideas on prints for the masks. She asked me if I wanted to do a collab. Obviously I immediately said yes!

I put together a spreadsheet with prints I thought would be perfect for summer: soft tie dye, vibrant Ikat, neutral stripes and black denim (as a feminine alternative to black). We headed downtown (wearing masks of course!) and picked out three upcycled fabrics to use for the masks. So not only are these face masks charitable, they’re conscious, too. Since they didn’t have the exact tie dye print I was envisioning, I decided to create my own.

I spent three days straight on my balcony, customizing the perfect colors and tie dyeing 100 tan tie dye face masks and 100 pastel tie dye face masks. It felt so wonderful to be able to spend my time in a creative way to raise money for a good cause: 100% of my proceeds from the Sunday Ritual x Sydne Summer face masks are donated to charity!

I hope you love the face masks as much as I do! If you buy one, tag me (I’m @sydnesummer) and show me how you wear it and I’ll re-post it on my Insta Stories! We’re using the hashtag #SRxSSmasks

And if you need a little inspiration on how to wear face masks from the collection, I went on KTLA News to show 5 summer outfit ideas with the prints. I’ll be posting more on Instagram in the next couple of weeks too. That way you can keep getting inspired as your masks arrive.

Well done! If only there were more people like you, the world would be a much better place! Sharing good things is a great joy. Charity helps cultivate the best qualities in the masses. It gives a chance for a normal life to those who have almost lost hope. In addition, it is important to understand that everyone, sooner or later, may need help. That’s exactly what Matthew Fleeger did, about whom I learned more here –
