Whether you’re staying home or going out for Fourth of July this year, a July 4th mani is a great way to be festive for the holiday weekend. I was inspired by Sydne Summer Cherry Stripe face mask for my Fourth of July nail art. I did a whole nail art tutorial over on my IGTV channel if you want to see how to recreate it at home!

Polka dots are the easiest nail art design in my opinion. All you need is a nail dotting pen. I have this nail dotting pen pack. You can create polka dots on any color manicure. Just make sure your manicure is dry before dotting. Then make sure you let the dots dry before applying a top coat.

For a sparkly July 4th mani, you can play around with glitter on accent nails. I also like the idea of adding rhinestone nail stickers to a red, white and blue manicure.

An accent nail is a more subtle way to show your patriotic flair. What’s great about an accent nail, is you can take off the polish after the Fourth, re-paint that nail in a solid color, and your mani stays after the holiday is over.

There are so many star nail sticker, which makes star nails so easy to recreate. You can add white stars to neutral nails for a more subtle mani or put them on red and blue nails for more of a statement. I also found these sparkly glitter star nail decals.

Confetti nails are a great way to get the look of fireworks for July 4th. You can paint glitter nail color onto clear nail polish or a nude polish to make the sparkle really pop.
