This post was inspired by a girls night I had the other weekend. I wore this outfit and my friend commented that my sweater was the perfect date night top. So she bought in black and white. It got me thinking… should I be stocking up on tops to wear on dates?

I haven’t really started dating again yet (more on that here). But it doesn’t hurt to be prepared! Winter is tricky when it comes to tops to wear with jeans for a date. You want to stay warm but still look sexy. I usually look for sweaters that have a wrap style, like the one I’m wearing, to show off curves. Other styles I like are sweaters that show a slip of skin with off-the-shoulder or cold shoulder details.
