As discounts continue to deepen, it’s getting harder to pass up a good deal. But just because a dress is 80% off doesn’t mean you should buy it. Especially if that dress has a plaid print, bubble hem, built in chain-necklace or any other trendy feature from fall.
It’s fine if an item was popular, just as long as it’s a classic. Take for instance, Diane von Furstenberg’s Benny dress. Celebrities loved this dress last year. And so did I. I could only find it in my size in black, otherwise I would have bought it in every other color. The silhouette is timeless and the seaming is very flattering. But the best part is, the dress is seasonless.
For winter, I’ve shown it paired with a tweed jacket, sheer tights, classic pumps and a sparkly pendant. Come spring, I’ll wear it with a trendy geometric statement necklace and zipper platforms.
Now…
Diane von Furstenberg dress, True Meaning jacket, vintage necklace, Stuart Weitzman pumps.
Later…
Diane von Furstenberg dress, lia sophia necklace, MICHAEL Michael Kors Berkley sandals.
So fun to see your first outfit post!
4 years later and you’re still wearing it?
CLASSIC!
