ttF Fashion Staple: Metallic Knit Sweater
To kick off one of my best friend Jamie’s (aka Queen of the Quarter Life Crisis) birthday week (yes, in Los Angeles birthdays are week-long), we had a girls day at the Staples Center. Usually when I head to Staples it’s to see my beloved Lakers. But today, we mixed things up with the Kings. Luckily, the hockey team’s main color is also purple, so I wore the same top I often use to show my support for Kobe Bryant & Co. I let it peek through this month’s staples and used a side braid to disguise my bad hair day. I found these earrings when cleaning out a closet from a gifting suite I attended three years ago. I wish I could remember who makes them because I really like the earthy combo of wood and turquoise.
The Kings lost to the Canucks but we still had an absolute blast watching the crazy Canadians cheer on their home team. A group of men seated below us kept getting in trouble for taking off their shirts to reveal the paintings on their chest. It certainly was a nice change from watching the Lakers girls!
