Do you think there is an age limit to wearing white denim? —@shannonmar
There most certainly is not an age limit when it comes to white jeans! Like any denim, it just depends on the style you choose. I went to the online retailer to show how you can rock white denim at any age. Here are my top picks:
When you’re an active teenager a cropped jean can be a really great choice. They look equally adorable with oxford flats as they do with a wooden heel. You can also get away with ripped styles when you’re younger, so why not embrace it?
My pick: Les Halles The Straw Ankle Legging Jeans
Whether you’re in college or starting off your career, a classic skinny jean is heaven sent. Wear it with flats to class and a sexy pair of heels for a night out. They also look chic for work under a boyfriend blazer.
My pick: J Brand 10″ Ankle Skinny Jeans
I’m so happy the boot cut is back in style. It’s so incredibly flattering, which is helpful when it comes to white denim. A mid-rise with a little flare make it easier to wear the lighter wash. You can pair it with a crisp button down and pumps for Casual Friday at the office or a cardigan set and sandals for a dinner date.
My pick: Citizens of Humanity Amber Mid Rise Boot Cut Jeans
A 70s style high rise works best for younger bodies or long and lean types. But a relaxed high rise, with room in the leg and hip area, is flattering for more womanly figures. Look for wide-leg styles with a higher inseam.
My pick: Joe’s Jeans High Rise Wide Leg Jeans
