ttF Fashion Diary: NYFW Day 4

ttF Fashion Staple: Ladylike Jacket
Since today marked the 10th anniversary of 9/11, I skipped the brights and stuck with a more a somber palette for today’s shows. First up was L.A.M.B., which Gwen Stefani dedicated to the people of New York City. The designer delivered her signature feminine edge with checked jumpsuits, two-tone top knots, ethnic jewelry and hot red accessories.

After checking out lia sophia’s new Boudika collection at the Empire Hotel, I headed down to MADE at Milk Studios to see Simon Spurr and Patrik Ervell (pictured below). Before the shows began, I hung out with my beauty blogging pal and fellow AMEX Skybox blogger Jeannine Morris of Beauty Sweet Spot at the American Express lounge. We could not get over Ed Westwick (aka Chuck from Gossip Girl) who was wearing a pinky ring on each hand as he sipped champagne in the lounge.

Simon Spurr had incredible blazers with leather sleeves that I so wished were made for women. Maybe he’ll follow in the footsteps of Patrik Ervell, who delved into womenswear for the first time this season. Hear what he had to say, and catch pics from the runway, in my posts on the AMEX  Skybox Report.
