ttF Fashion Diary: NYFW Day 5

ttF Fashion Staple: Colorful Snakeskin Pumps
Today was the perfect fashion week day. I kicked off the morning with one of my absolute fave designer, Jenny Packham, who showed a feminine collection of lingerie-inspired looks embellished with intricate beading and vibrant colors. The chiffon floated beautifully along the runway. And as Rowenta Style Ambassador Althea Harper told me earlier in the week, the material definitely requires some serious steaming before a show.

Speaking of Rowenta, the steamer and iron sponsor invited me to mega A-list show, Carolina Herrera. Nicki Minaj sat front row with Anna Wintour (odd mix!) while longtime fan Renée Zellweger smiled at all the looks that came down the runway.

Next, it was on to Carlos Miele, which featured loud prints and color. But my fave looks were the more refined separates. After popping into Rachel Roy’s womenswear-meets-menswear presentation, I headed to Rebecca Minkoff’s desert inspired show. And I absolutely fell in love with this jacket.

Finally, it was back to the American Express Skybox for VLOV (check out my coverage on the AMEX blog). As for what I wore? I went with ketchup and mustard, spicing up a red dress with a matching pout and yellow accessories. Thanks to TRESemmé, my bad hair day turned into Jessica Rabbit-style waves towards the end of the day and I simply adored the retro glamour.
