Denim on denim is a tricky trend. But styled correctly, it can be incredibly fashionable! Using four pieces from Old Navy‘s denim collection, I came up with three ideas to get you started…
– Chambray Shirt & Jeans –
A chambray shirt and jeans is often my go-to uniform. It’s so simple and incredibly comfortable! Make sure you balance out the double denim with netural accents and a pop of color. To transition into fall, I went with tan booties and a studded belt. Then, I added an orange bag to bring a fun factor to the look.
– Chambray Shirt & Denim Jacket –
I love using denim as a contrast for shiny pieces in my wardrobe. I’ve worn this leather and metallic tweed skirt before with a simple chambray button-down. Here, I took it one step further by adding a jean jacket. The silver shoes and bag dress up the play on denim and shine.
– Denim Vest & Jeans –
Vests are a huge trend right now. And denim vests are the easiest to wear of the bunch! You can add them to summer’s maxi dresses to bring them into fall or pair them with jeans, like I did here. I played with tough and feminine accents by adding a leather tank and gold cap toe pumps.
