City Cinderella

Sydne-Style-what-to-wear-at-fashion-week-new-york-february-jay-godfrey-how-to-wear-pastels-cinderella-blue-tweedMy fave pastel has always been mint. But with the craze around Disney’s new Cinderella  movie, I’ve been gravitating towards pale blue. I picked out this Brahmin bag before leaving for fashion week and it set the mood for many of my outfits. I brought it along with me to a fitting at Jay Godfrey and loved the tonal effect of blue on blue. The black gave the sweet color a city feel. I wore gray tights underneath so the stripe on the bottom of the dress didn’t get lost. Luckily it was warm enough at Jay’s presentation that I could take my jacket off to show the cutout neck details. The designer had a thing for tonal too. Did you see his hot pink look for fall?!

I’ve gotten a bunch of questions about my hair and makeup during fashion week. I wish I could take the credit but with the freezing temperatures and my crazy schedule, I made it easier for myself with Priv. It’s a beauty app where you can order services to your hotel or house. I used Mariana for three days and this messy ponytail was by far my fave. The windier it got, the cooler my hair looked!

Speaking of Cinderella, I just checked out Lauren Conrad’s new Disney collection for Kohl’s.
