One of my favorite parts about fashion week is getting to supports designers I love. When I used to work at E! I’d go to over 30 shows in a week! Now that I work for myself, I can be pickier on who I see. I was so proud of my friend Hunter Bell for her first showing during New York Fashion Week. You might remember Hunter from Fashion Star—and you might recognize her name from all of her jumpsuits I wear non stop (right now they’re 30% off!).
I stopped by her showroom to pick out a piece to wear to the presentation. I instantly fell in love with her pastel print. Since it’s a scuba material (i.e. thicker) I was able to layer underneath for added warmth. I brought a school-girl vibe to the dress with a classic white button-down. Then I highlighted the mint of the pattern with my new Brahmin bag. It’s hard to see in photos but when the sun reflects on the purse it creates the most beautiful shimmer.
On a side note, are you guys on Snapchat? I started it during fashion week (I’m @sydnesummer) and I’m obsessed! Right now it’s mostly fashion, food and my rescue pup, Bunny. I’d love to hear more about what you’d like to see over there!

The blue and white prints of the dress is really beautiful and the style is so flattering on you! Lovely white coat too!
Pretty, I love your dress
Really loving the button down under the dress. I’m going to have to try that out 🙂
You look beautiful Sydne! I love the print of this dress.
Always gorgeous! Sydne, would appreciate your recommendation on finding a great fitted, tailored white button down. I’ve been on the hunt for a while without much luck – used to adore Club Monaco’s version but they don’t seem to make it any more. I’m petite and find most button downs are baggy in the arms and waist (perhaps I just need a good tailor:) Appreciate any suggestions you have!
