I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend! I’m finally on my last post of fashion week. This one was a mix-match of pieces I already had and ones I picked up in New York. Instead of having a traditional show or presentation, Cynthia Rowley showcased her collection digitally at a party. I was thrilled when I got to pick out an outfit to wear to the event.
I’ve been obsessed with voluminous skirt for the past few months so I instantly gravitated towards this denim and mesh one. I wanted to wear it with the matching top (on sale!)but with the cold weather I swapped the short sleeves for a cozy cropped sweater. Sticking to my fashion week pastel theme I added a pastel Brahmin bag, then made the outfit pop with a necklace I borrowed from Shauna.
Before the party, I went to Monique Lhuillier. The designer truly puts on a show. Last season, I literally got goose bumps as iridescent confetti fell from the ceiling during the final walk. My outfit matched the Spring runway. But for Fall, it was more about seductive jewel tones. In line with the untraditional theme of the day, the models staggered on stairs after they walked down the runways, making for a dramatic ending.
