Fashion week is one season ahead. So the collections I’ve been posting on Instagram predict trends that will be popular later this year. But I’m often so inspired that I want the look now! Such was the case after seeing Pamella Roland. I adored the designer’s sexy jumpsuits. But I instantly wanted to replicate the feel of her gowns paired with thigh-high boots (a major trend on the runways).
While I was shopping after brunch, I found this two-piece lace set. I love playing around with slips of skin—and the black crop top and maxi skirt combo reminded me of a look I saw at another one of my fave designers, Jenny Packham. The two best parts about this outfit? It’s super affordable. And it’s machine washable!
When I get back from fashion week, my dry-cleaning bill is always insane. So it’s nice to have pieces I can wash myself. Tide was a sponsor at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, so I brought home some Tide Pods to make laundry even easier. You just throw one in the washer, add clothes and voila! All clean… and still incredibly chic.
