Welcome to my new weekly Wednesday column: Inspired By. When I was a fashion editor at E! and Style Network, I was obsessed with everything and anything celebrity. These days, I’m still inspired by celebrity fashion. But I’m all about making it my own. So instead of copying a look from head-to-toe, every week I’m going to take elements of star style and wear it Sydne style.
I’ve recently been majorly inspired by the Kardashian clan’s love for monochromatic gray (Kim, Kendall and Kylie are all obsessed!). While I adore how chic wearing one neutral can be, I wanted to make it a little more cheerful for spring. So I added a pop of my favorite color with this Express yellow clutch. While I usually pair yellow with gold, the silver chain worked perfect with my gray moment. So I wore it with the comfiest skirt ever (draping is super helpful in the figure flattery department too!) and then matched it with a breezy Express tank and simple heels.
